The Property
We began the renovation project of La Petite Maisonnette in 2017. When starting, the building was a ruin : it had a collapsed floor, holes in the roof, no windows or doors and was without running water or electricity Over a 3 year period, the property has now been completely renovated, whilst careful attention has been given to maintain the elements of charm from a previous time The building's original purpose is not yet fully understood, however its thick stone walls have been standing since 1837 and we are certain that with our renovation they will remain standing for future centuries to come La Petite Maisonnette has been welcoming guests since 2020
Your Hosts
Ben and Marika arrived in Saffloz in 2014 Ben, originally from Australia and Marika, originally from Italy speak French, Italian and English We love the tranquillity and green spaces of the surroundings. Listening to the bird songs during the day, or cow bells at night is calming. For us, Saffloz is a place that enables the body and mind to completely relax We want our guests to feel comfortable and at home.
